LaSalle Mariners Yacht Club’s Blessing of the Fleet

Photo: Piper Greg Pearson leads the Royal Canadian Legion Colour Guard and Rev. Gomes to the water for the ceremony, which included the laying of bread and wreath of remembrance.  The boat blessing sail-by featured 13 boats in the parade.  Mayor Ken Antaya judged the Dressing of the Fleet competition, with Endless Journey (skipper Walt Argent) winning first and Mellow Yellow (skipper M.J.
